Find a Penny, Pick it up, All Day Long You'll have Good Luck

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11

"If you find a penny on the ground, then that means a guardian angel is looking after you." My grandma use to tell me this all the time when I was little. Just today I was walking in my dorm and I found one.  I couldn't help but think that angels are always looking after us.  Last year my mom told me an amazing story that blew my mind.  Before I was born, she lived in LA working as a nurse.  One late night, she took the Los Angeles interstate after working 12 hours at three in the morning.  Being exhausted she had trouble keeping her eyes open.  She fell asleep at the wheel going towards the side railings of the interstate.  This was calling for death.  Remarkably, she felt a light tap on her shoulder in which woke her up.  She could of been in a horrible accident, but I believe a guardian angel was looking after her.  

Whether you believe it or not, God is always looking after you, and he uses angels to do this.  Angles can be many things.  Our protection; as explained in Daniel 3 when three men were thrown in the furnace and an angel appeared with them. Angels can also be our guide like in Acts 8:26 when the angel guides Philip. They are also used to answer prayer when Gabriel came to Daniel in Daniel 9:20-24.  There are many other stories in the Bible about angels and people.  I encourage you to read them yourself.  

In the stories about angels in the Bible, angels don't appear as cute and cuddly babies.  Their full grown adults.  People fear angels, but don't think of angels as your worst nightmare.  Think of them as your protector and guidance, at least thats what I do when I see a penny on the ground.
